What is Bourloto?

Bourloto is a survival trivia game for 2+ players. You do not need the exact answer: every question asks for a number, and you score by guessing a range that contains it.

The tighter your correct range, the more points you earn. The host creates a room, shares a link, and everyone answers on their own phone.

A good range is enough. It is trivia for people who know roughly, not perfectly.

Tight ranges score more

The smallest correct range takes 4 points. Another correct range takes 1.

Race to 16

The first player to reach 16 points becomes the sheriff of the table.

Boosts change everything

Steal a range, swap answers or double your points. Each boost works once per game.

Built for groups

Two players work; three to ten is the sweet spot for a party.

Play from anywhere

Same room or video call: the host shares one link and everyone joins.

Rules

Rules and scoring

Tightest correct range: 4 points

If your range contains the answer and is the smallest correct range at the table, you take 4 points.

Other correct ranges: 1 point

If your range is correct but someone else was tighter, you still score 1 point.

Wrong range: 0 points

If the answer falls outside your range, you score nothing for the round.

The Sheriff rule

If every player has a correct range, the widest correct range scores 0 instead of 1.

Steal

Take another player's range. If it is correct, you score the points it earns.

Swap

Choose two other players and make them exchange answers for the round.

Double

Double the points from your correct range. A miss is still a miss.

How to play

Create a room as host, or join with a friend's link.
Read the question. Every answer is a number.
Write the range you think contains the answer.
Use Steal, Swap or Double when the moment is right.
Reach 16 points first and win the round.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know the exact answer?

No. Every Bourloto answer is a number, and you only need a range that contains it. A tighter range scores more.

How does scoring work?

The tightest correct range gets 4 points, other correct ranges get 1 point, and a wrong range gets 0. The Sheriff rule can turn the widest correct range into 0.

How many players do we need?

Bourloto works with 2+ players. Three to ten players is the sweet spot.

Can we play online?

Yes. The host creates a room and shares a link. Everyone joins from their own phone, in the same room or on a video call.

What do the boosts do?

Steal takes another player's range, Swap exchanges two players' answers, and Double doubles the points from your correct range. Each boost can be used once per game.

Is Bourloto free?

The download is free. Optional Premium unlocks extra content and removes ads; you can play Bourloto without paying.
